What to expect in a Kripalu-style Yoga Class: Each session begins with warm-up movements, breath awareness and centering, to prepare you for yoga postures. The heart of each class is a sequence of postures (asanas) that stretch, strengthen, and balance your body. Each class ends with deep relaxation and meditation.
Gentle classes incorporate the use of props such as blocks, straps, bolsters, and cushions for the neck and back.
Moderate classes integrate classical yoga poses with more vigorous (but gentle) movement sequences.
